Configure feeding, transport and daily/extra-class fees, then manage subscriptions, service usage, wallets and reports.

1. Configure pricing first
Before using the registers, configure how the school charges for each service. The Settings page separates Feeding, Transport and Daily Fee. Set the appropriate daily/term prices and the rules for wallet use and income posting.
Copy settings from the previous academic year
Use Copy Previous Academic Year Settings to bring forward Daily Services configuration, feeding levels/items, transport routes and daily-fee levels. Choose a previous academic year and click Copy Now. The current academic year is protected and cannot be selected as the source.
2. Feeding Settings
Feeding supports three pricing approaches:

| Flat (Daily / Term) | All relevant students use the same daily or term feeding price. |
| Level-Based | Feeding price depends on the feeding level assigned to the student. |
| Flexible Feeding | Staff need to tick items eaten or enter an amount rather than use one fixed price. |
Feeding settings can also control whether wallet funds are deducted, whether low balances should block marking, whether cash inflows or service usage post to Income, whether unchecking reverses posted income, whether students must first be marked Present/Late/Half Day, and which Income Head should receive the transaction.
3. Transport Settings
Transport can use Flat (IN/OUT) pricing or Route-Based pricing. In Flat mode, set the IN Price, OUT Price and optional Term Price. The same wallet, balance, income-posting, auto-reversal and school-attendance rules can also be configured.
4. Daily Fee / Extra-Class Settings
Use Daily Fee for daily class fees, extra-class charges or another recurring daily levy. Choose Flat (Daily / Term) when everyone pays the same amount, or Class / Level-Based when the amount depends on the assigned level/class.
5. Create subscriptions and assign students
After prices are ready, use Subscriptions to manage the available Daily Services plans and Students Assigned to review which learners are attached to those subscriptions. This is what connects the configured service to the students who should appear in its register.
6. Use the daily registers
Feeding Register
Record feeding usage for eligible/assigned students using the configured feeding mode.
Transport Register
Record student transport usage according to the configured IN/OUT or route pricing.
Daily Fees Register
Record the daily levy or extra-class fee for assigned students.
7. Wallets, term payments and balances
Jest Daily provides dedicated money-management screens:

| Term Payments | Record/manage payments made for a full term where term pricing is used. |

8. Daily reports and feeding chits
Use Today's Report to review the day's Daily Services activity. Use Print Feeding Chits when the school needs printable feeding slips/chits for the selected date.
